You don’t have to be the ultimate flexy goddess to do split shapes on the pole, you just have to use your powers of illusion...

Join renowned pole instructor Stephanie Tallant @stephanietallant_pole for this power hour of gorgeous faux splitty shapes! This Higher Beginner Lvl 1/2 and up class will focus on 2-3 faux split shapes (including front and straddle variations), transitions between the shapes to build short combos, and techniques for active flexibility, alignment, and engagement to extend and improve lines.

Prerequisites (not required, but having most of these will be helpful!)
-Pole sit, genie, and jasmine
-Ability to invert (either from the floor or by dropping down)

Bio:
Stephanie Tallant is a pole instructor and movement coach with over a decade of training experience. She is known for her structured teaching and progressions that help students build strength, confidence, and body awareness. She discovered pole in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the challenge and variety of it. Stephanie has competed professionally with PSO and POSA (Pole Sports & Arts World Federation) and now focuses on coaching students around the world through the Pole with Steph App. Her teaching centers on strong foundations, active flexibility, sustainable technique, and off-the-pole conditioning that supports ongoing progress. Spun Out!
This pop-up class with @rainnriot will focus on the fundamental components of seamless pirouettes through a variety of techniques, including turns on the inside and outside leg, double turns, and pirouettes as transitions to standing from the floor. Expect a good warm-up from ankles to shoulder joints, drills that you can take home with you, and a sequence of turns that will spiral you through a variety of pirouette-based techniques. Heels recommended but not required. Let’s master this iconic low-flow move!
Recommended high beginner and above.

KIPS & FLOPS!
Dynamic floor tricks are a great way to wow a crowd, but they can be dangerous and scary, so proper warm-up and technique are essential. In this workshop by the kip queen herself, Nadia @Polerina_nadia you will go over the mechanics of kips and flops. She will have you doing some version of each drill by the end of the workshop. Bring good kneepads. Ankle booties or boots are recommended over sandals to protect your toes.

NIGHTSHIFT
Unleash your inner hoe and live out your $kripper dreams in this workshop led by a stripper of almost 7 years Nadia Nirvana @polerina_nadia. You will do a fiery warm-up to get the heat building and unleash the $eggs goddess. Then you will learn some $kripper-style choreo emphasizing hips/body rolls, twerking, stage presence, musicality and raw sensuality. Please bring kneepads and a “F!ck you, pay me” attitude.

PoleAlchemy DJ Party with Maria @groovysweat and DJ Livi Baby @livi.b.a.b.y

Transform strength, flexibility, and control into fluid, expressive movement in this 90 minute pilates-style pole conditioning class meets house party, all powered by live DJ Beats.

Expect slow-burn strength, controlled tension, and seamless movement on and off the pole. The afternoon will begin with a solid 50 minute ab and full body burner workout. Move through a mat-to-pole flow that conditions the entire body from every angle, blending core activation, functional strength, active flexibility and intentional transitions.

Finish with a 40 minute pole jam where you will take turns dancing it out, performing for each other, jamming with your friends, or just chilling to the house beats of DJ Livi Baby. Light refreshments will be provided. Don’t miss this one of a kind event!

Formerly the owner of Apple Jelly Pole Studio and now co-creator of The Original Sin pole competition @originalsinshow she is deeply committed to pole as an art form, and absolutely passionate about teaching. 🪩 How you felt as a beginner pole student and why you stuck with it:
When I started pole back in 2010 there wasn’t a lot of studios so I started out teaching myself and then got certified in 2011 to teach classes, but I love learning from so many amazing teachers over the years. I started pole to help with body dysmorphia and confidence and I stuck with it because I love the physical and mental strength that pole provides along with the creative outlet of putting together combos and choreo. I also love that no matter how long you’ve been doing pole there is always more to learn.

Janiece, also known as @babyy_chocolate is no stranger to dance, as she has done just about every form since she was young, and majored in dance at Los Angeles County High School for the Performing Arts. Her love for movement led her to a degree in Kinesiology from UNLV and a stint in Cirque du Soleil. Her journey eventually brought her to teach pole dance, and now she is a stripper. Owner of FlexistretchbyJan, she teaches privates and is known as your fave stripper’s fave stripper! Babyy is known for her raw and unapologetic sensuality and sexuality. She has been featured in P Valley season 2, a Ne-yo music video, and performed at the BET Hip Hop Awards for a SoSoDef set.

Walking the fur baby, Sam, while listening to the My Favorite Murder podcast. Alternating between writing one of my several fiction projects (will it be seafaring horror romance, dystopian fantasy, or pure erotic smut today?) also…Multitasking.

Chubby Hubby from Ben and Jerry’s is my absolute favorite. But I’ll kill for anything with lots of different textures in it.

🪩 How I felt as a beginner:
Dance always came and always does come easier to me than tricks because of my former dance background. I felt frustrated in the beginning because I couldn’t do any tricks without putting on grip about 1 million times. It took time to realize that, like me, lots of people came into the pole studio with different backgrounds, and that the term beginner was subjective. It was important to build community, have fun and not compare.
